They are separated into two groups: The first group are called the Saucer Beasts(円盤獣 Enban-jū) and the second group are called the Vega Beasts(ベガ獣 Bega-jū). They are both created by the Vega Planet Allied Forces and their names are two words repeated.
Saucer Beasts[]
The Saucer Beasts are combat robots sent by the Vega Planet Allied Forces to invade Earth. True to their name, they each have the ability to transform into flying saucer disks with some of them having different shapes when transformed. They use radiation that fills the universe as there energy source and run on an anti-gravity engine.
The Saucer Beasts are capable of navigating between Planet Vega and Earth without resupply and their armor is made out of an alloy created from a special ore mined 5,000 meters underground on Planet Vega and mixed with meteorites.
There are two types of Saucer Beasts: Ones that operate semi-autonomously through remote control and ones that are operated by commanders who board them directly.
Vega Beast[]
The Vega Beasts are the main weapons of the Vega Planet Allied Forces and are developed by the Secretary of Defense Dantos to replace the Saucer Beasts.
They are biological weapons that combine the combat instincts of a space beast and the weapons of a combat robot, so they have more biological designs than the Saucer Beasts. They are manufactured by taking the body of a ferocious space creature, irradiating it with super gamma rays to make it gigantic, and are gone through cyborg surgery afterwards.
They have superior combat power where they have greater reflexes and agility than the Saucer Beasts and the more injured they get, the more ferocious they become. They are even strong enough to tear off Grendizer's arm off.
